remove broken sharepoint

I have rMBP13 and MB Air13 which I set up to share and it worked fine until I broke it. I was trying to work on permissions and it somehow created a .dmg file. I didn't know what it meant so I deleted it and deleted 'wheel' permissions like a dork. Now, selecting Network displays my other laptop's drive and then folders but they all (when selected) say 'sharepoint' and selecting one (Desktop for example) says, "operation can't be completed because original item 'desktop' can't be found."

Because of this, I no longer have access to my rMBP laptop files. Question: How can I remove that 'broken' sharepoint? I did Recover Big Sur and it put the 'wheel' back but didn't fix the 'sharepoint' issue. Spotlight can't find sharepoint nor is it in my Applications. Any help would be deeply appreciated!

Lesson learned ... if I don't know what something does, don't mess with it. :-(

UPDATE: There was an old anti-virus program called ClamXav which, when I dragged it to trash, didn't remove all pieces and IT was causing the issue. If a program can't properly remove itself, it should include an uninstall portion; this didn't. Anyway, once I removed all instances of this program, the issue was resolved.
