Philips monitors

I have followed a thread about the absence of Mac drivers for Phillips monitors. I am running a Philips PHL 436M6BVR and it does not require a driver, but it lacks an appropriate colour profile. Otherwise it works but the colours are wrong no matter which of the 6 profiles I choose. I can't find a way to create one that works.

However, I still have issues calibrating the gamut with xRite i1 Display and different calibration softwares, I can calibrate the white point and brightness with the instrument, but then I have to profile it by eye with Display Calibration Assistant to get correct gamut. I also have to kill WindowServer a few times a day after sleep. This causes all the applications to close and I need to log back in to get RGB back instead of YPbPr. I just want to know if Apple is aware of this problem that affects, I think, almost everyone who works with colors and everyone who cares about it. It's 3 years since the M1 have been released, I'd like to know if we can finally expect a fix.

Major problem of color calibration since months , need help. Hi friends , my monitor is samsung SA300 , I have been editing on it since 10 years now , I have two OS on two separate hard discs that use the same monitor, on one I have mountain lion and on another I have Sierra , both have fcpx , have the same ICC profile / colour profile selected on both the systems and the monitor settings remain the same .... but I don't know why colours on both the OS are completely different , with mountain lion I get colour close to perfect but on sierra everything is unreal and misleading , I have calibrated both the monitor with the inbuilt software too, both have same icc profile , in both monitor setting remains same .... but since I do not see anything else on the OS with which I can manipulate colour , brightness and contrast , I have not been able to understand how to get colours on sierra close to real or at least like on my mountain lion , what can be the possible reason of this difference and what can I do to assure similar colors on sierra too... plz help.

MacOs Monterey The menu item System Preferences -> Displays -> Color doesn't exist. How to calibrate color? I have a Mac Pro, Monterey 12.2.1, and a Samsung monitor. I want to calibrate color on the monitor. I do not want to "pick a color set" I want to hand-tune color. On many Apple products there is a Menu item for this: Menu -> System Preferences -> Displays -> Color But this menu item does not exist on my system. When I navigate to Menu -> System Preferences -> Displays I see a Color Profile dropdown that does not allow for calibration, but only selection of an existing color profile. Also, while there is a "Customize" selection at the end of the dropdown list, selecting this only shows the dropdown list again. There is no calibration mechanism. Help. (But first please READ my question and do not tell me to do things I've listed as not possible. Thank you.)
