Wi-Fi icon not displaying

iOS 15.0.2 on 12pro (same issue on my wife’s 11 pro). Wi-Fi logo does not appear on top right while connected to Wi-Fi. Testing with cellular data off, airplane mode etc are all successful over Wi-Fi only connection, not a major functional issue but a major annoyance when trying to monitor speed and data usage. Any help is greatly appreciated.

One recommendation is to update both of your iPhones to iOS version 15.1 if you have not already done so.

Furthermore, Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
