Manufacturing fault iphone
I bough a brand new iphone 12 in September 2021 for LKR 233,000 (From Dialog ) with in 10 days i faced mac problem which is manufacturing fault.
Immediately i went to my suppler and told the problem but they direct me to contact Genext pvt ltd since they are the authorized service provider but Genext is 400km far a way from my residents and in srilanka due to covid 19 out break transportation also restricted however i went them and told the history and they check the device and accept the fault.
Then i requested to replace the phone but they refuse to replace the phone and says hand over the manufactory fault phone and which will be forwarded to iphone company to get the replacement and will take 35 working days.
I don't have any choice since i spend LKR 233,000 it is my 5 months salary so i agreed.
Normally if u sold faulty device immediately replace by new one but here not happen.
Finally i collect the replace device on 24.11.2021 more than 46 days.
More than 46 days i don't have iphone(smart phone) due to this i lost so many things and depression.
I lost huge in Stock market
Missed several mails programms
Unable to attend the Theme meeting
So what is you compensation to me regarding the above by sold/market the technically fault brand new device
