Siri Remote (2nd Gen) Loses Charge Quickly

Hi hi,

I have an Apple TV with the new 2nd Gen Siri remote but every time I charge it the remote loses charge after a day or so. At the beginning, it's lasted months.

The unit isn't very old. Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Dan

Verify that you charged as described in the support document, using certified cables, to a computer or to an AC outlet with power adapter.

Monitor the charge level, that you start a cycle with 80% charge or more. The Siri Remote takes about 2.5–3 hours to fully charge.

If the issue persists, then you might want to contact Apple about the warranty on bundled remotes and their batteries.
