How do I activate sound to find device with Find Me?

Open Find My app. Tap on the Devices tab (Bottom). Tap on the Device that you are trying to locate. Tap on Play Sound.

Use any internet browser and log into www.icloud.com/find and then select the device and click "Play Sound."

In the Find My app, select the device and tap "Play Sound."
