In iTunes, how can I tell if an audio book has been abridged (i.e. butchered)?

I can see "Unabridged" in the titles of occasional audio books, but most don't say one way or the other. Is there somewhere that makes if clear if a book has been butchered? Do I assume if it doesn't say that it's abridged? I purchased an abridged book a while back and never want to repeat the experience, and as a consequence I'm buying almost nothing.
