Front Camera IPad Pro 12 - 2021

I’m the only one that is suffering with the lens of the front camera of my new iPad Pro 12?

Embarrassing The quality of the video calls (and it is publicised for the high quality of the videos…).

Apple Support told me that is not a defect but a QUALITY of the lens (= no solution).

No words.

Best.

Your attached image is already small/low resolution - making assessment of the image difficult - the only obvious feature perhaps being lens flare from ambient lighting, screen protector and/or smear on the front-facing camera lens.

That said, be aware that while the front camera of your 2021 iPad Pro has a higher pixel count than many other iPad models, the ultra-wide camera lens unavoidably reduces the effective resolution of a digitally cropped image.

The ultra wide front camera features Centre Stage, allowing the iPad to mimic pan and zoom in software. Disabling the Centre Stage feature simply provides an ultra-wide camera field - but will not improve the effective resolution of the camera.
