Mute button is permanently on so I can't hear callers how do I remove this
I cant take calls because the mute button is on but I can't remove it - any suggestions?

Dirty? Try to clean it using a soft brush.
Broken? Make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
