How can I Stop 🛑 this from happening over and over again?

Annoying Update message on settings There is a permanent 1 marked on the Settings app on our newish iMac which is running Ventura. When we click on Settings there is a message to the effect that 'Your Apple ID needs updating' but when we try to do this supposed update and enter Apple ID password it won't accept it. My husband has changed his Apple ID several times because of this but it makes no difference. He has tried logging out of his Apple ID and then logging back in again but it doesn't have any effect. Is this some sort of 'blip' with Ventura? Is there anything we can do to get rid of it, it's really annoying. Welshwhizz

OSX 12.6 Login message I have a Mac Studio running on OSX Monterey 12.6. This is the current version unless I decide to optionally upgrade to OSX 16. Every time I start the computer, after I login, a box pops up in the upper right hand corner withe the following message Approve "William's iPhone"? This iPhone wants to use your iCloud account. There is an Option drop-down to Approve or Decline. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 15.7, the latest release and it lists both the iPhone and the Mac Studio are my two authorized iCloud devices. Does anybody know how to stop this or is it an OSX 12 bug
