Found a iPhone it is activation locked I don’t want anything but to find the owner

If the owner did not provide a message on the lock screen, there is no way to find them. You can turn it in to the local police where you found it to see if they made a police report. If not then you can recycle it responsibly. You can see about sending it to Apple or bring it by an Apple retail store for recycling.
