The accompanying propaganda that came with the upgraded Monterey operating system states there is a Quick Note feature available by hovering the mouse in the bottom right corner of the screen.
It don’t work on my MacBook M1. Is there a setting to enable it??

you need to enable it. go into SystemPreferences > Desktop&Screensaver in the Screensaver tab and click on "hot corners".
then choose an "active screen corner". click the blue "up / down" arrows.
and in the popup window that appears for said corner, choose "quick note".

good to know. it didn't do that for me, probably because i already had that corner set to "lock screen". :)
After I installed Monterey, Quick Notes in lower right Hot Corner was set automatically.
