iCloud tabs not working in Safari on iOS devices, while Reading list and bookmarks sync just fine.

iphone 11 shows the open tabs on my 10.5" ipad Pro, but my iPad Pro only shows 30 old tabs from my iPhone that are not open. Some of these tabs are over a year old. It never shows the tabs that are actually open.


Bookmarks and reading lists update.


Both devices are on newest OS.


I've tried turning off iCloud Safari and back on, both keeping and deleting the local items, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Are you using Private Browsing on your iPhone? If so, iCloud Tabs won't share with the iPad Pro. Take a look at the following resource for more information on using and exiting Private Browsing: Browse privately in Safari on iPhone.


If the issue persists, restart both devices and test again.
