Apple Music on PlayStation 5 — HDCP requirement — Why?

What's the point of HDCP requirement for the service on PS5? I know it's anti-piracy technology but you can listen to the music on PC without any HDCP-supportive display.

The case is I'm playing on pretty old monitor (1080p) that doesn't support HDCP and I can't turn it on in my console settings. Therefore I can't use Apple Music. That's pretty odd you can freely use the service on other devices without HDCP but console.

How can I stream Apple Music hi res to my 2 channel stereo? I have a hi end 2 channel stereo I want stream Apple Music in hi res to. Currently using a Bluesound Node 2i. But that does not support Apple Music natively. I have another Node 2i and some Sonos devices. I am just looking for a streamer that support Apple Music in Hi Res.

Music in Big Sur 11.1 does not transmit crossfade, eq, volume and trimmed duration to airplay I have had itunes since day one, do have playlists with eq, volume, duration ajustment and use the crossfade feature at all times. I just got the new itunes (MUSIC) and nothing is being transmitted to my apple home pod, apple tv, airport express. In other words, MUSIC is not compatible with airplay streaming... This is not consistent that an apple app does not communicate with another one. I have thousands of song, multiple playlists for different settings (classroom, weddings, waiting rooms, study group, yoga classe, hi fi music listening club etc..) and my new MacBookpro is useless, I need to use my old computer to stream music everywhere....?
