I have my Home Screen organized to my satisfaction. I have subsequent screens populated with folders with related APPs stored in them. Every so often the order of icons on my home screen or within folders changes.
it changes because a random APP, in frequent use, has suddenly migrated to the APP LIBRARY.
How fo I stop this? I already have new APPs NOT landing in the APP Library.

But, it’s typically just one APP on the Home Screen. There I will grant you a misplaced thumb etc.
But my page two has 22 folders. Most of which are multipage.
Yesterday (for example) several folders had lost APPs to the APP Library. It becomes very obvious when they are either regularly used and no longer in the folder. Or when the contents of the folder have shifted over out of place.
No one uses my iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB except me.
My career from 1972-2010 was entirely in Information Technology. IBM Big Iron, through PCs, Workstations, Notebooks, Tablets, and into handheld devices.
I could most assuredly be wrong. But as of yet I don’t see how.
I just went looking for my ImageSearch APP. Since downloading it has always resided in my Photography folder on screen 2 of my iPhone (see original post).
Where did I find it? In the APP Library of course.
This continues to happen over and over again.
I am not short of storage. I do not have Offload Unused Apps enabled.
Maddening.
