Delete button and spacebar query. I am struggling with the MacBook keyboard

I am struggling with the Macbook Air keyboard ⌨ I literally don't understand why there is no delete button and I end up duplicating files when using shortcuts.

The spacebar, instead giving me space when typing, it will create blue lines at the edge of the window or textbar when I am typing and how do I change this
