My AirPods repeatedly try to connect while in the case

My AirPods have been connecting to my phone while they’re in the case, and when I go to use them they’ll be out of battery. Any suggestions?

AirPods stay connected when in charging case. My AirPods will stay connected when in the charging case. When I go to use them, they will not be fully charged. Any ideas?

airpods only connect when case is charging The AirPods will only connect when the case is plugged in to a charge cord. Once they connect, they work normal. The case battery is holding a charge. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?
