AppleCare Protection in Thailand

I'm writing to ask about AppleCare Protection Plan in Thailand.

Since I have bought my Macbook Air (model 2018) in 2018. There was no AppleCare+ at that time, only AppleCare was available and I have already bought the plan (around 8,900 THB). They said it covered the accident too. I have been using my Macbook very well till now. There are some scratches and I need to claim it. iCare in Thailand said my protection plan is just AppleCare not AppleCare+ and I could not claim anything. So, I'm writing to get clear of this issue. I paid the AppleCare Protection Plan that time is more expensive than AppleCare+ today.

The original Applecare does not include accidental damage. And, it depends on your country whether that one or the new Applecare + is available. So far, the Applecare + is only available in certain countries - you can see them in this document:

Also look at this:

The price you paid is irrelevant in this case: you purchased the plain Applecare and that does not include accidental damage - sorry. Applecare plus is not available in Thailand.
