Application error: a client-side exception has occurred

Hey gyus,

I have a problem with some websites on Safari on my iPhone.

When I enter them I get the following message: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred" and the site is not loading. This happens for example on ign.com or thegameawards.com.

What I already did:

  • Restart phone
  • Delete Browser history etc.
  • Deactivate Adguard
  • Requested the desktop site
  • Contacted Apple support
  • Contacted IGN Support

The funny thing is the site loads without the error when JavaScript is deactivated but the site becomes useless.

On browsers it works perfetctly but I do not have any adblock on them which is annoying. So the problem has to be with Safari.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Thanks in advance

iPhone 7, iOS 15
