I forgot to delete my Bootcamp partition before doing the above. I need a way to merge the BOOTCAMP partition and merge it with the main Mac partition in Monterey

I had already nuked Win10 from the partition using Disk Utility. I had to reinstall Win10 in the partition using Bootcamp Assistant. Then I used Bootcamp Assistant to “properly” delete Win10. Then I was able to use Disk Utility to merge the partitions. (Whew!)

You will need to use Disk Utility on the Mac side to delete the bootcamp partition, and then extend the exiting Mac partition to take over the free space of the deleted Bootcamp partition.

I did it using the Bootcamp Assistant. He detected my Win10 on Bootcamp and asked me to remove it ...
