Macbook Pro super slow in the morning

From all of a sudden my MacBook pro has gone super slow in the morning, even if I leave it on with no programs running.

I need to force a restart to make it work as normally again. Sometimes that doesn't help but I need to reset PRAM and SMC.

I've tried repairing the OS disc and the regular data disc.

Not sure what to do here. Will need to shut it down every night. Any other ideas?

As mentioned, CleanMyMac should be removed.

You have a lot of stuff installed for only 8GB of RAM

  • Docker
  • VPN (which is not really needed unless you are using it to connect to work, or attempting to shift to a different country to view content you cannot get in your own country, otherwise it is just another way to centralize all your traffic though a single vendor, even more so than your ISP, as when you are in a coffeeshop or other non-home location, you are still sending all your traffic through the VPN for them to monetize.
  • Google Chrome is a resource hog on Macs. Safari is much more friendly to your limited resources. If you have 1 or 2 web sites that just will not work with Safari, then use Brave, Firefox or Chrome, on just those sites, and then quit the browser.
  • Also if you are so worried about your ISP seeing what you web surf, why are you using GOOGLE's Chrome to tell Google everything you are doing anyway?
  • MacFUSE - Do you really need MacFUSE. I'm just looking at things that are loaded all the time and taking up memory.
  • What are you doing with MySQL. Nothing against it, just looking for things to give you back some of your limited resources.
  • You are running a Torrent client (Transmission) which is always running, and will consume your network bandwidth sharing files with other Torrent users. Do you need to do this all the time? Again, looking for ways to conserve your limited resources.
  • You are running Spotify. Maybe run that on your iPhone, and if you want better speakers, try the HomePod, or Bluetooth speakers paired to your iPhone (or Android phone).
  • You are running Slack. I've found the macOS Slack client to be a bit of a resource hog. I've switched to running Slack via my web browser. This has 2 advantages. 1) It is less of a hog running as a in a browser tab, and it does not require a separate application. 2) You can have multiple browser tabs opened in Slack, so you can be involved in multiple conversations at once when using a web browser that you cannot do using the Slack app. Again, I'm trying to conserve your limited resources.
  • You are running OneDrive AND Dropbox. These file sync utilities take up resources that you do not have to give.
  • You are running Flux, which if I am correct, is a utility to change the color tone of your screen at night. Catalina can do that for you via Night Shift.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Whew, they've changed pastebin & made it harder, but after pasting in, click Create new paste button, then Embed button, then copy the URL...

The important part of the above is between the quote marks...
