Whenever I try to open chrome/safari via a link from email or text I get this error message unless I’m connected to wifi. I can open chrome/safari and search just fine but I cannot open links. It’s so frustrating. Any idea?

Hey there, Ka4tee!

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

This is definitely something we want to help you out with. Being able to interact with links via email is hugely important.

To start, we want to recommend that you see if you can isolate the issue a little further. It's possible that isolating the cause of the issue will help you get this resolved. To check, these are some ways you can isolate the issue:

• Are the affected links all sent by the same contact?

• Does this only affect links from one specific website?

• If you use multiple email accounts, does this issue affect links on all of your accounts or only one?

If you're noticing that it only happens with one account, you could try removing that account and adding it back. If it's from the same contact, you could check and see if they are using any sort of URL shortener or something of that nature which is affecting the links.

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
