I just bought a 2010 MacBook pro 13" and discovered the old owners apple ID is still there keeping me from upgrading my OS ....also want to upgrade hard drive to SSD ... and have the latest macOS running but can't get past logging into the Ap store ... maybe create a boot drive with the new SSD ... don't know how to do that ... what do I do

Yes an option but lost contact info and searching the web for answers ... one is to create a bootable drive and replace the original hard drive ... might work but new territory for me
