Coverage for Limited Warranty

Hi, I would like to consult on the Limited Warranty date of my iPhone.

Previously, I was using iPhone 12 Pro, under my About, it stated my limited warranty expires on 25 Oct 2022 (as attached below).

Later on, I changed to iPhone 13 Pro, and sold my iPhone 12 Pro after erasing/resetting it.

However, after the new owner of the iPhone 12 Pro set up the phone, the limited warranty date changed to 20 January 2022 instead (as attached below). May I know why did this happen, why did the limited warranty date changed? Could you please assist to change the date back to 25 Oct 2022?
