How do I know if my battery is defective? My IPhone 12 mini is losing battery life extremely fast. In 15 days it went from 92% to 89%. It’s only 10 months old. I’ve never had to charge any of my previous phones as often as I have to charge this phone.
My previous iPhone 10 I had for 3/4 years and the battery life was at 87% when I traded it. Help?

Some batterie's age faster than others. Replace at 79%
If it drops to 79% before 12 months it will be a free replacement.
To uphold battery life charge it all night every night and don't run it flat. Nothing else will help.
Thank you. At least that gives me a number to look for. I do charge every night and I’m used to only ever charge them with my previous iPhones that’s why I feel this one is different
They vary. My iphone 6S lasted less than 2 years, my 12 is on 99% at 5 months
