App not supported by new IOS update

I have been using an app “My Journal” with a plain brown icon with ‘Journal’ written on the front. I am now receiving a message stating that it is no longer supported by the current version of IOS. I have a great deal of writing, prose and poetry, in there including many photos and current events ( at the time I added them ). How do I access my musings to move them or even to print them out. Licking on the icon won’t even open it to the content, period. Hope you can help me…

I have spent 2 hours with Apple Support personnel and was handed a solid wall.

Someone, somewhere, has a record of this application and who filed for Apple to use it AND no doubt, exchange of monies in order for the app to be offered through the App Store. Kick it upstairs and find someone who has that information. It is a matter of historical fact, and it is a matter of importance to me.

Have you looked in the App Store for the app? If it is no longer available there, you would need to try Google to see if you can find the app developer. They are the one that supports the app and would have to provide you with information about how to access your data. Apple cannot do that.
