After using migratory assistant from old MacBook pro to new MacBook Air I am not able to log in.

How do I bypass logging in since the password is not recognized.

After using Migration Assistant to migrate your previous User Account, be sure to use your (older MacBook) User Account login credentials.

Assuming it still doesn't work, you can try resetting the login password according to the instructions in If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support. Exhaust all those possibilities, including the option to reset it using your Apple ID assuming it appears, all the way through to the final paragraph under "if you can't reset your password".

If you are unable to succeed you might as well erase the new MacBook Air and start over from the beginning, which leads you to If you still can't reset your password, erase your Mac. Reaching that stage would be more than enough justification to contact Apple and have them assist though, because it's not supposed to be this difficult: Contact Apple Support.
