Older MacOS and newer printers

Is there any workaround for using an older MacOS (prior to 10.13) and this does not work with newer generation wireless printers. Any workaround that doesn't include updating to a MacOS that will still run 32-bit software?

How do I connect a samsung CLP 680ND printer to my mac running Monteray 12.6.2 I'm looking to use a Samsung CLP 680ND toner printer (received from father) to print via my iMac - it's running Monterey 12.6.2. I have no manufacturer disk and have done some searching but am struggling to find a driver for the printer. I've plugged it in via USB as I believe it's not wireless - it's not being auto recognised. I've tried to install drivers relating to 10.15 etc, but can't see anything later. Any ideas please as would be a shame to bin an expensive bit of kit because I can't get it to connect properly.

Consider any printer that supports AirPrint from Mac. I believe AP works in High Sierra 10.13 and newer macOS.
