Apple TV activation failed

After restoring my Apple TV due to the belief that it would resolve the sluggish connection, now, my apple devices cannot locate my Apple TV. Checked the about menu of my Apple TV and it says activation failed.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.


We understand you're unable to activate your Apple TV after restoring. Activation is linked to your Apple ID once your sign in. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi network as well as no lingering chargers for purchases. This may cause a disruption. If there are any charges that need to be cleared up with the affected Apple ID, use the guidance in If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement to clear it up.


Restart your router and complete the restore again if this continues. Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings
