If I already have paramount account separate from Apple TV why can’t I log on it on apple tv

The Paramount+ Channel inside the Apple TV app is for subscription started inside the Apple TV app. Subscription started outside the Apple TV app will have to be viewed in a separate Paramount+ app. These types of subscription have different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations, and are not exchangeable without canceling and resubscribing the other way.
