SiriusXM takes over

Hi everybody,

I took a 2 month free streaming offer from SiriusXM. Suddenly my car gave me an “out of range” error when I tried to play Spotify and podcasts. I have an iPhone 11using iOS 15.1. It turned out the offer did not include car streaming so I canceled the order. Suddenly my car recognised my phone again and it’s back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else? It feels like SiriusXM is “big brother “ and they took control. When the car was new I had a free year with SiriusXM so they had my VIN, email and car ID….

Thanks!

Bec
