Macbook detects wrong screen size

I am using an external monitor DELL U2720Q Display with DisplayLink on my Macbook Pro. For some weird reason, the OS detects the screen to be 61 inches wide, which it is not. It is 27 inches and that impacts the resolution very badly. Texts are so small that they are unreadable.

I tried using the same with my Macbook Air M1 and there it works amazingly well. Can someone please help here?
