Need help unlocking an iPod touch
iPod touch is locked. I tried to restore it and I got the message that an error had occurred.

Need more information. Do you mean the lock screen passcode or do you mean Activation Lock. If lock screen passcode: If you forgot the passcode on your iPod touch, or your iPod touch is disabled - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211080 but if you mean Activation Lock, there is nothing you can do without the original Apple ID and Password.
