Hello,

I’ve had a series of unfortunate events - the most recent being that my brand new iPhone SE 2nd gen was stolen off a private table at my work place, be an Uber driver. I work in the service industry and we communicate solely through our phones, but I had to set it down for 1 second. The police refuse to do anything but meet me at the last location of my iPhone, which I’ve tried twice and both times they had “more urgent calls”. This phone was less than 6 months old and you’re my last hope at replacement. Is there anything that can be done? Thank you for your time.

iPhone SE, iOS 14

If you did not purchase AppleCare+ with Theft & Loss, there is nothing that Apple can do about it. Apple does not cover loss and theft, but have you checked with your carrier and see if they do? Some carriers offer a service with your cellular plan. You would have to ask them.

Apple would have nothing to do with how law enforcement responds to your request.
