Hi Tony,
Insert a Text Box on a blank part of the canvas.
Select and copy the cells
Click in the Text Box twice to insert the cursor, and paste. That will create tab-separated text.
Regards,
Ian.

More likely a menu otion to Export the document to a CSV file, found in the File menu in earlier versions ( 4 and up) of Numbers.

""Yellowbox" give me the the right answer."
Then your next step is to Click the Green Checkmark attached to Yellowbox's post that answered (solved) your issue. Doing so bring that post to the top of the conversation, making it immediately visible to any later visitor with a similar issue abd searching for an answer.

There is no equivalent to Excel's Show Formulas command, if that is what you are asking. There is a FORMULATEXT function that can be used to display the formula in another cell. What is it you need to do?
It's very simple. I just want to convert two columns (7 rows) of a table into text (without retyping everything). That's it.
It used to be an easy thing to do. But how do I do it now in either Numbers or Pages??? (No formula involved.)
What is it you want converted to text? I have assumed it is formulas but you did not confirm. Rather than me filling this thread with what might be useless info, I will wait until it is more clear what you want.
Hi...I have a table with two columns of text, eight rows deep. I simply want to convert it all to straight text (no table), without having to retype everything. "Yellowbox" give me the the right answer. Many thanks to all for the help.
Edited: I really don't know what you are asking so I deleted my latest response.
