Turning of Closed Captions on Apple TV+ on PS5

I have checked all my settings on my PlayStation5 and nothing is changed. The only app that I cannot turn closed caption off is Apple TV+ I gone to settings/accessibilities etc etc and the option to turn off is not there. I only have the option to change the style. How do I turn closed caption off so don’t have to turn it off every show I start?

On third party devices, the Apple TV app will follow device settings for that (if possible/enabled through the OS), or else you may find it in Accessibility Settings inside the Apple TV app.

Additionally you may turn closed captioning on|off during playback from the Subtitles/Audio pane.

Turn on Closed Captions and SDH (if available) [as default] - Apple Support

Turn on subtitles and closed captioning (if available) [during playback] - Apple Support

If that doesn’t work for you, then I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).
