Sleep schedule alarm no sound, no vibrate.

I have a bedtime sleep schedule set through health. There is a glitch where I will sometimes wake up well after my alarm and see that the screen is showing the snooze button as if the alarm is sounding but there is no sound or vibrate.

this has only been a problem since I got ios15. I have deleted and reset my sleep schedule, I have reset my phone including redownloading the OS, sound is turned up (this is obviously not the problem as it is not vibrating either). It is not happening every day. Some days are fine. I have gone to setting backup alarms in the alarm app and those still go off even when bedtime alarm is silent.

this has happened maybe a half a dozen times in the past 2 months. I can’t quite figure out the issues but it seems like it might be happening more often if I have to edit the time I wake up. Or one time, the alarm went off but then I reset it to wake up later that morning and the second time it did not sound. There is definitely a bug as I’ve used this feature with zero issues for a few years now.

additionally there used to be a feature that once you get up and turn off the bedtime alarm, it shows the weather on the wake screen. That is also no longer working.

please fix bedtime back to how it was for ios 14!!! Or fix these bugs. It’s very frustrating.

Hello withe,

We see you're having an issue with your alarm sound not going off, and we'd like to help out.

Is this primarily happening when you're already awake before your alarm goes off, or does it also happen while you're still asleep?

As we note the post mentions using an iPhone 11, which uses Face ID, please try checking Settings > Face ID & Passcode, and see if Attention Aware Features is enabled. If it is, try temporarily disabling this. Then, try setting up an alarm for a couple minutes in the future to test out if the sound occurs or not.

Also, try changing the sound for the Alarm to see if this helps as well.

Lastly, be sure to check out the "If the alarm volume is too low or quiet" section of this page: How to set and manage alarms on your iPhone

Cheers.

This is happening when I am still asleep. Not a Face ID issue. Additionally, it is not a volume issue as it is fine one time and then will

be silent/no vibrate when sound/volume settings have not been touched. For example, I will set a bedtime alarm to wake up my husband at 4am. I will then change the wake up time to 7am for me to wake up. It will sound and vibrate at 4am and then be completely silent/no vibrate at 7am.
