I recently installed a new modem & router from Cox. I can’t get the Cox network to not show unsecured, even though my internet is working, can you help me? On my Mac I-pad.

I recently installed a new Cox (panoramic) modem & router. I’m getting internet & WiFi, however the Cox icon shows unsecured? How do I get it to be secured?

Sounds like a question for Cox. But maybe you are not using WPA2 to connect to the router. Log into the router admin and check what security protocol you are using.
