ID problem

when Apple ID is requested I put in my email & it sends message to phone saying it's to a device near Westcliff-on-sea England, I don't know who this is & I have changed password & it still comes up the same

Apple ID wrong phone number Last night i received an email saying that my apple account was used on a certain phone. A minute later I received an email saying I should verify my apple ID. It was not me that tried to log in nor did i maka an account. The phone number that is linked to the account is not mine eighter (the last 2 digits are not my last 2 digits). I have no idea what i shoud do now. It looks as if someone used my emailadres to make an apple ID but used his or her own number. I want to have this account deleted or something, but can’t log in since i dont know the password or the phonenumber. I hope someone knows that to do. Many thanks.

Just changed my password for Apple ID and message comes up that a device in Norfolk, NE is using my ID. I Just changed password for Apple ID and message comes up that a device in Norfolk, NE is using a device with my ID. I'm in Illinois. I DID change the password on my phone and message then came up on my laptop. Is problem maybe with my phone or is someone in Nebraska messing with my account??

Is this happening when your iPhone is using your wi-fi network to access the Internet? Are you anywhere near Westcliff, or in Essex? I've had similar notifications and what was happening is that my location was being determined by some piece of equipment (server?) of my Internet Service Provider. Usually this was nearby but occasionally it was rather distant.

The expectation is that the message your received is measuring your actual location, which may not be the case.
