FaceTime & camera

im setting up a phone and my imessages are sending but my FaceTime will not work. Also for some reason the back camera is completely black, there is no damage on the front or back of phone

Start here:

Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime
