Keyboard shortcuts not working in Google Docs when using Safari on Macbook

Not sure if due to the recent update to Monterrey but I'm unable to use shortcuts like Cmd + A or Cmd + C or Cmd + V or etc to "select all", "copy" and/or "paste" in Google's tools when using Safari on a Mac.

Anyone else running into this issue? It's really affecting my workflow. Thanks so much!

keyboard shortcut command , conflict in google docs, the shortcut for subscripts is command, but safari preferences is also the same exact thing how do i change either of them because then i cant do subscripts ;(

Problem with Safari - Google on iMac OS High Sierra It is not easy to describe the problem I am having when opening Google via Safari. When I select a site in Google and then open in the selected site a specific subject, the page switches to a kind of "typed copy of the info" I then can not continue the search. How can I avoid this?
