I do I stop a "Pending Transaction" that has stopped my from making further purchases?

I play "Star wars: Galaxy of Heroes". Recently, maybe on the 1st or 2nd of December. I made an in-game purchase which got interrupted by an error. This purchase was actually a free purchase. However, the game now repeatedly says there is a transaction pending in game. I've checked my pending transactions and it doesn't exist. This error also keeps causing another in game error labelled "error 9.0"

Through my research, it implied that if you can't see the pending transaction its the games issue therefor go to their support. Now I've been given the runaround over the last week. Insanely frustrating, I can try and play the game on other devices but at the end of the day my phone is still there preferred device for me to use.

So my question. Is there a way to sort of "force" this pending transaction error to go away? Going through my history it is notable that I haven't been able to make purchases since in this game but all other purchases and games are perfectly fine. In the meantime the game is rather unplayable due to the errors and if it can go away it should hopefully fix the other issues I am facing.

Note: Also I know the common support for this is to refund the transaction. However, as I mentioned. It was free and is not listed anywhere.

You have completed all of the steps that I would have in your situation. This still has not resolved the issue. What interests me is that you even reset the iPhone to factory settings and once you downloaded the app again, the issue came with it. You are still able to play the game on other devices and this tells me that the issue is local. Do you use iCloud for backups by any chance? If YES, then does the data from this game gets backed up to iCloud? Open Settings ➔ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➔ iCloud: Here, locate the game and set the switch to OFF. Then, uninstall the app. Reboot the iPhone. Install the app again and then see whether that resolves the issue.

It appears that the issue is at the local level. By that I mean that it is only associated with the game app on your iPhone. You mentioned that you can play the game on other devices and that leads me to believe that the issue is local to the iPhone. Does that game have a log in and log out of the game's server? If YES, then perhaps you can try that and not lose any data. If you have already tried that unsuccessfully, then perhaps a Force Restarting of the iPhone may work. If you have an iPhone that uses Face ID, then Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Yeah that's why I went to the game support first.

Unfortunately I've done;

  • Log out and in
  • Uninstall and reinstall
  • Forced shut down
  • Disconnected my payment method and reconnected (With various combinations of resets)
  • And sadly, I went through the long process of factory resetting my phone.

All of which has not rectified the issue. I'm sort of at a loss for words because there is seemingly no fix for the issue I'm having. (I'm great at being unique and finding the only way to have an unsolvable issue) haha

Yes it gets saved to the cloud since it carries across devices.

The app itself I can't find under ICloud but I find the game center. So I did that instead and followed the instructions.

Took me awhile to reply since I had to reinstall but the issue unfortunately is still.

Like I'm saying I'm between a rock and a hard place. I've tried every reset under the sun but it maintains that there is a transaction pending.
