Transfer File to Old iPad

I have to put a PDF file on an iPad 2. I don't use it any more, but there is a need.

How can I get the PDF file on that iPad? I normally use Dropbox, but since pretty much no applications play nice with an iPad 2 any more, I can't get the file on the via Dropbox.

I think I have iCloud storage that I do not use, but I have no idea if I can even get access to it via my 9th Generation iPad or my iPad Pro.

Is the iPad 2 good for anything any more? I just want to be able to give someone the device so they can read from a PDF.

Hey Mike Salva1,

It sounds like you're wanting to use the iPad to view PDF files. We can help.

There's a few ways you can do this. You could email the PDF or AirDrop the file: How to use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

If you are able to sign into iCloud on the iPad, you can use iCloud Drive to access the PDF file: Access and manage your files in iCloud Drive - Apple Support.

You can use Books to view the PDF on the device: Read PDF documents in Books on iPad - Apple Support.

Have a great day.
