I have a old Apple TV but can't sign in.

I'm trying to log into my old Apple TV but the password doesn't go through.

On the Apple TV it will ask you to sign in, enter your Apple ID password.
Once you enter the Apple ID password you will get the passcode on your iPad, iPhone etc...
Go back to the Apple TV and it will asking your to sign in again, enter the Apple ID password followed by the passcode on your other device. For example if your Apple ID password is XHZ123 and the passcode on the other device is 8901 enter XHZ1238901

I saw this online. But I don't have a iPad, iPhone or any other apple product. So how can I sign in?
