MacBook Pro Safari Extension Issue

I am a teacher and we use the ClassLink extension to access our grade book etc. through google chrome. I noticed that since I started using the extension in google chrome it has been causing problems when I try using Safari. When I open safari and try to login to my personal google account it redirects me immediately to the ClassLink login page. I have tried removing all extensions from my Safari and Google Chrome. However, I am still getting bounced to the ClassLink login page every time I try logging into my personal google account through Safari. I have also tried downloading cleanmymacx and it didn’t even show that the ClassLink extension was even downloaded on Safari. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello presleymw! Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that when using Safari, you’re redirected to ClassLink when you try to access your personal Google account. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.

Is your Mac managed by your school? If so, it’s possible that there may be some restrictions that are preventing access to certain sites. We’d recommend checking with the admin responsible for managing school devices to see if this is the case.

If this is your personal Mac, does this issue occur if you start your Mac in safe mode? Safe mode keeps third party software from launching immediately at startup and helps us in determining if the issue is related to software that’s been installed: How to use safe mode on your Mac

Make it a great day!
