Redeem gift card

Hello, I moved from Canada to the US and I am unfortunately not able to redeem my apple gift card from Canada. Is there any way for me to still use it somehow or would I need to go to Canada to use it? Thank you for your help!

"You can't redeem Apple Gift Cards or App Store & iTunes Gift Cards outside of the country or region of purchase."

If you can't redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card - https://support.apple.com/HT201195

You would need an account set to Canada as the country in order to be able to redeem it. Simply going to Canada won't accomplish that.
