my iphone disconnects just before extracting software finishes ive tried everything help

i want to restore and update my iphone 8 plus using itunes but every time its just about to finish the final steps my iphone turns off disconnects on its own ive tried everything ,ive tried restarting force restart updating but it just doesent work.help
