MacBook Air Update Frozen / Not Updating for 24 hours

I recently got a new MacBook Air and I was promoted to install an update (I’m not too sure of its specific name) but I updated it approximately a day ago.

Since then, my laptop screen is showing that it’s updating but the progress bar is stuck at the same place for the past day with there being subtext saying, “About a minute remaining.”
