Why is my iPad glitchy

Since the afternoon of 12-8-21, I have been experiencing numerous problems with my 6th generation iPad. It is up to date with iOS 15.1. For a while texts were not syncing with iPhone. Now there are apps that are not functioning properly. I have turned off more than once. I have rebooted more than once. What else is left for me to do?
