When paired with my television, pressing the rotary knob mutes them—note they are not connected to the phone. If they were, pushing on the rotary knob would summon the sirinator

To control audio, use the Digital Crown:
The television just pairs it as a generic Bluetooth headphone. There’s no concept of pausing a song. It’s just a Bluetooth speaker. I guess that in this configuration, the press of the crown causes it to mute. My television is made by LG.
I’m asking for a mute function for using the headphones for teleconference. You know zoom like we are all on these days?
I want the ability to mute the mic when away from my phone or computer from the headset itself.
